Montessori vs. Conventional School

The Montessori Method is a learning system that accounts for the child’s distinct planes of development, natural interests, and individual learning styles. Through careful observation and training, teachers familiarize themselves with the needs of their students, present lessons that tap their interests, and create a "prepared environment" that supports independent, student-initiated work. Children are free to select, practice, and repeat lessons based on their innate developmental trajectory until they have reached mastery.
